Baccarat rules and strategy

Baccarat is one of the most simple casino card games. As a gambler you have three options to choose from, one is to bet on the player, the second option is to bet on tie and the last option is to bet on the Bank. The important thing to remember is that the tie has the lowest odds for a win, therefore wagering on it decreases your chances of a win. At the end of the day Baccarat is a game of chance all about predicting which hand will win. As you become more familiar with the games rules and you acquire a better understanding of the game, it will be easier for you to guess correctly, increasing both your enjoyment and win percentage of the game.

In Baccarat the players table seating position is unimportant unlike in other games such as Blackjack, as the position will never dictate your role in the game. The other player's wagered amounts also have no effect on your chances to win or lose so keep focused on trying to predict which the better hand at the table is.

The bank, otherwise in Baccarat known as the Shoe comprises of eight decks of cards excluding the Jokers. The game starts with the dealer dealing a "Cut card" and then shuffling all eight decks together, returning all cards to the shoe afterwards. The dealer will then deal the first card in the deck; this card will determine how many cards to burn. For example: if this card value is 7, the dealer will take the first 7 cards from the shoe and discard them into a tray next to the first card.
At the beginning of each new game, the shoe is given to the player seated to the right of the dealer. Now this player takes on the role of the bank and he will keep it until such time as the "Bank" loses. Then simply the "Bank" role moves to next player on the right .Each player must declare his bet before the cards are dealt.

The player with the bank deals two sets of two cards, assuming that the game is played by two players. The hand closest to nine wins. If the first two cards dealt count Eight or Nine it is called a "Natural" and this hand will win automatically, unless both hands have the same value then it is of course a Tie. When nobody has a natural additional cards are drawn to determine the Baccarat winner. If the hand you bet on wins you get a one to one payoff.

"Bethedealer" casino houses this very popular yet classic casino game. The on-line version of Baccarat however is slightly different in comparison to the original version but the basic rules remain the same, taking nothing away from the original levels of excitement and fun.

To give you an example,Bethedealer casino game rules are listed below:
As the player, you make only two decisions before the cards are dealt: the position you believe will win the next hand (player, banker or tie) and the amount of your wager.
You have no decisions to make during the game itself.
Cards from 2-9 are counted at their face value, Aces are worth 1, and picture cards and tens are counted as 0 (suits do not matter).
Our Baccarat game is played with six decks of cards, which are shuffled after each round.
Each round begins when you bet on the player, banker or tie.
After you place your bet, you and the dealer (banker) each receive two cards. The score of each hand appears to the left of the cards.
For example: If your cards are 4 and 9, totaling 13, giving a score of 3. The score always ranges from 0 to 9. A third card may or may not be dealt to the player, dealer or both.
Note: If either you or the banker has a score of 8 or a 9, you both stand (this is called a natural).
